I wish there was something profound and insightful to put here, but words (English, German, AND Swedish ones) seem to be incapable of expressing anything really

when i said goodbye to my roommates in mexico i was holding back tears (cab driver probably thought i was nutso) and i was only there for 2 months, so i can only imagine what it's like for you. it'll be good to see you though sir!

it's painful, you bawl, you see manly men cry at your departure and if you are lucky enough to be traveling home with someone else in the same situation, you commiserate, go find a bar and drown your sorrows and play a game of mrs. ipplestipple. then you realize that you have many many many couches you can now call home whenever you go back :)
and with the joys of international cell phones I talked to a friend in Adelaide this morning, and it was amazing
