My Lord...we've all been mocking him for ages because she has a silly name and we didn't know who she was. Tonight, however, I finally got around to looking her up and am now ashamed of not doing so sooner. She sounded amazing...

...any of my year 8 friends are reading this before 1am tonight, the show on Kerrang is SOOOO suited to my witchy phase!! It's funny :P

I had an interview today! It was regarding an application I made to an accountancy admin position with a recruitment agency called RK Accountancy, who interviewed me and said I come across very well at interview and they think I'm an ideal candidate for the job, so they're going to put me forward! Yay :)

2007

Good things

• have stayed in touch with old friends, and become closer to them
  
• have celebrated my first ever anniversary with a wonderful guy
• have made new friends that are awesome :)
  
• finally got my act together, stood up to my parents and left university
• have reached the end of the year still with four grandparents

...and all that jazz :)

Woop woop. I saw my tutor/handed in my withdrawal form today. She was so unbelieveably lovely that I can't believe I was trying to avoid talking to her. I made more of a deal of the personal reasons than I did of the academic ones but still she was so supportive and smiley and stuff. Well, my parents felt a lot better with this by the end of the weekend. Well...my mum was. I still don't know exactly how my dad feels about it and probably never will but I've got to pull it out and do as well as I can to make him proud now. Today I told my parents (and therefore confirmed) that I'm dropping out of uni. I tried to tell them that I was going to do another degree but they saw through it and said that it's probably more me if I get a job, which is so true. I've never felt so awful in my life because they're clearly so disappointed in me, but I'm so unhappy with my degree ( Read more... )
