Ursula's Ovariectomy
It's been 3 months since x-rays showed follicle development (eggs being formed) in Ursula. The normal gestation time for Green Iguanas is around 8 weeks . . . so, on this very date, Ursula is 1 month late in laying her eggs. If she retains them any longer she could die. She has not eaten a thing (but 2 or three small bits of melon) in 4 weeks. ( Read more... ) -

My new Iguana that I bought from the Mexican flea market down in the Valley . . . and intentionally did not mention until now because i didn't know if she would live or not. Down in the Valley
ROAD TRIP!!! Finally I got to get off the farm for a few days!!! WHOOOOOOOOOT!!! I went with Amber, Darren, and Swathi to visit Susan in The Valley. Actually it's in McAllen, TX about 6 miles from the Mexico border . . . but in reality, we were as good as already in Mexico. We even had to cross the border patrol to get out of The Valley!!!
