good weekend

this has been a most excellent weekend thus far. hot, but excellent. friday morning, i biked the boys down to jamison square to play in the fountain and have a picnic, followed by an ice cream treat at cool moon. both boys took naps that afternoon (as did i), trying to stay cool inside in the dark. friday night, i biked up to acadia, an upscale

oh man, it was awesome. insane. there were 72,000 people there and it was hot, but it was worth it. i think it was pretty much his standard stump speech, but he was clearly wow'd by the turnout (and said it was the most spectacular setting for a rally yet). he didn't really say anything i hadn't heard before, but to hear it in person was great. and the bikes, oh the bikes. i've never seen so many bikes in one place before. there were bikes chained to every conceivable surface for blocks and blocks and blocks
