WE'VE GOT OUR APARTMENT IN SF!!! and it's the coolest place i've never seen. yes, that's right, i just took an apartment sight unseen (other than pictures on the web), but chris+tiffany said we needed to get it. it's in inner sunset, 1-1/2 blocks from golden gate park, close to the hospital for mac and good bus lines. it's the lower floor of a two ( Read more... )

mac got home early today so we took milo on his first monday night ride. only 13 miles, but that's more than enough if you're hauling a small boy in a trailer behind your bike. luckily it was mac doing the hauling. seeing as it was only my second "real" ride since milo was born, it was more than enough for me to haul my own ass on a bike. then we ( Read more... )

milo's fairy godmother kris is in town from nashville, and came over yesterday to help watch the boy while i worked on the house. instead, i watched her cut the quarter-round trim for my upstairs hallway. she's so handy that way. then beck and mike came over to watch him while mac and i got all gussied up and went to our fifth and final annual ( Read more... )

the small boy is pulling up to standing like nobody's business. he can climb stairs. well a few of them, and up only. he totally crushed a hosta today while i was raking the yard, climbing over it and plowing it down while pushing a tonka truck that beth dropped off today. he's such a *boy* already. how can that be? how is it that he is hardwired ( Read more... )
