poor little milo has the croup. no fun. anyone know how long this usually lasts? he's napping now so i'm trying to get stuff done (ie. a shower)...more later.

milo, knock on wood, finally seems to be getting the hang of napping at daycare! on friday, i didn't go visit him a lunch (ie. nurse him down for his nap), deciding instead to go out for lunch for once with a coworker. he FELL ASLEEP ON HIS OWN(!) and slept for 2-1/2 hours! yesterday, i did go visit, and he napped for 2 hours. today, i decided to ( Read more... )

our new post-dinner walk takes us to grandview park. a grand view indeed.
the sun was setting so it was hard to take any pictures showing the ocean.
they got all flared and washed out since it was straight into the sun.

so back in mid-may, i applied for a job at SF MOMA just 'cos it was in my field and it's SF MOMA for pete's sake. i know that i don't want to go back to work full-time yet, which is what the advertised position was, but maybe, just maybe, i'd be up for a part-time gig, assuming i could find someone to watch milo. i didn't hear anything. until ( Read more... )
