I kind of woke up yesterday while overtaking a car about halfway home from work. I was trying to write a big long post about work and how I've been close to resigning lately. I wasn't really getting anywhere though as part of the problem is that I'm finding it difficult to express what is wrong or what needs to change to make it work properly. So I abandoned that. How was today?
My head hasn't been in a good place today. I've been trying to write something about Work (in general and possibly my current specific situation) all day but have ended up with a really long bunch of rambling drivel so I'm parking that for now ( Read more... ) -
Writing and anonymity
Depression often causes anhedonia and lack of motivation. This has certainly been the case with me. I often go back and forth with myself about how long I was experiencing issues before I got to the stage of actually visiting my GP. I feel kind of like I've been censoring myself a lot lately. Not sure I can avoid it without causing too much hassle but I guess that's what this is for so maybe I'll try it out a bit. It's hard to think about it in small chunks though. Kind of needs time and that is not something anyone seems to have. -

Today I was a shitty father. I have started taking Donncha to and from Naíonra most days when I'm at work. It definitely makes sense for leaving him in the mornings anyway since I am going to work at that time anyway.
