It Got Me Thinking...
I went out with a new guy friend tonight. He seemed pretty friendly and open in a group setting, so I was pretty excited that we were going to dinner one-on-one to see who he was. And, I'll admit, I was hoping for a little chemistry.

Woke up at 445 - still drunk, and hazy. I'm on a futon, my known worst enemy. I hate these things - they make me feel poor. Probably because I slept on one for a year while I was working pay off my one of two credit cards. Toward the end of my futon experience, only one sliver of it was sleepable and even that was a stretch.

I forgot how much being single sucks. I went out to karaoke tonight for a friend's birthday - which was great until I was left with a bunch of couples that I didn't know. Alone (at last?)
Last weekend, Jeff and I attended Sara's birthday party - it was a blast! We danced and ate and drank with lively conversation. Around 12:30, Jeff was ready to go home, but I wasn't quite. We had just listened to his mix of music for a while and just then I put some country on, so he agreed that we could hang out a while longer.

Nostalgia
We've been having issues with our mail server at work, so Outlook resynced every emails in every folder. Oh boy, I have a lot of emails stored. I decided after it took about 5 hours to sync that I should probably trash the majority of it. As a packrat, it's been tough to consider ridding any emails, let alone a few thousand ( Read more... ) -

Doesn't have tattoos, kids, isn't married, graduated from college, and doesn't have steady sex, but she's alright. She knows what she wants and, in time, she'll have it - no matter the price, no matter the time.

Whoa. I ran into my childhood best friend's aunt a couple of months ago at my sister's band concert. She just contacted me with my best friend's number. She also told me that she has three kids now ( Read more... )
