Let me just say, felting in winter is not good for the hands. My poor thumb is cracked and my hands are so dry. I've been slathering on that corn huskers lotion, and it seems to be helping. I may have to recruit a helper so my hands can have a rest.

I am on the quest for winter boots and am having a horrible time! I'm just not sure what look I'm going for, blah blah. They are a real necessity here, so I guess they don't need to be fashionable; but it would be nice. We had a most tragic occurrence! Two of our little finches, Begbie and Butternut, were sent off to the pet store. Butternut was making attempts at murdering Mama finch!
