Hi! I just friended you ('cause you said I could in your bio) and I'd love it if you want to friend me back. I work, too, but I'm diligently sewing as well. 1860s is my period for the most part, but I love others too - especially reading about them and being inspired. By the way, your layout and your website are both lovely!
Hi I'd like to be on your friends list.I'm new to this board, but I also post on Xanga.I typed in costume and found your site and I love your friends pic.I do historical reenacting {War between the states],and costumes, too.

Hi Val! I do remember you. I pop by your online photo album now and then to see what fun tea and/or costume things you've been up to. :) Welcome to my little blog!
I added you to my list of friends too.chloeandrudyMay 30 2006, 16:12:12 UTC
My LJ is rather short at this time, just having started it yesterday. I don't know how to do much with it yet, but sewing is a priority right now, since I have 3 days with no hubby. And I have to pack for our vacation cruise next week. 11 days of clothes! Before I start asking you a lot of questions, I'll run thru your journal and see what's up with you. I just finished sewing the bodice to my 1910 gown for the Gala last night, and will start on the skirt today. I'll take photos but don't know how to attach them yet. BTW, your journal is gorgeous. I love Regency, almost more than late Victorian now. Val
Hello! I love historic costumes too, and I'm trying to make one just now. I followed a link from your website to your livejournal, and was wondering, can we be friends please? Thanks!

Love the icon, by the way! I'm a big fan of Cicely Mary Barker's fairies. :)
