Just finished reading The Bone House which is the second book in the Bright Empires trilogy by Stephen Lawhead. It was so awesome. If you like the concepts of portals that let you jump from one time period to another, from modern day London to a 1800's English fishing village, to Egypt in the days of the pharoahs...this is the series for you. I *KNEW* who August was. I totally knew. WEEKS AGO I KNEW. Thank you, "Once Upon A Time" for being too transparent in this. It's been pouring down rain all weekend, and my kitchen has sprung a few leaks. :( Sigh.

I think I have a cold! Achooo! Sinuses are going berserk. I've got chills. I'm miserable. And I've already had three meetings today.

Mitten found! I can stop my whining! Also, last night I finished knitting my slippers! They're less than perfectly comfortable, but they were a learning experience, and next time I'll do better.

Have had too much caffeine and I feel sick. Blah.
