Miserable Thanksgiving
Not really, but I've had to ponder a huge decision. I got an offer from IBM, which pays $9,000 more base salary than Vanguard (though Vanguard does have additional benefits that narrow the gap a little bit). IBM is in Raleigh and Vanguard is in Charlotte. I've mapped out all the pro's and con's of both positions, both companies, and both locations ( Read more... ) -

Oh, and I got to hang out with the Bishop tonight (admittedly, I never saw him move diagonally though). Bishop Burbidge is a really cool guy. Very friendly, I like him a lot. The Raleigh diocese will benefit a lot from having him at the helm. -

All nighter last night. Went to bed at 6am, meant to get back up at 10am and go to work. Didn't happen. Slept solid straight to 1pm. Bout to go to bed now. Tired, hungry, spent. I want these last few weeks to be over but I don't want certain things about these weeks to be over though. -
I should win an award or something
for micromanagement and generally doing a million things at once and somehow not stressing out about it. Physical and mental fatigue is another story tho. Thanksgiving break won't be much of a break, I'll be working on lots of stuff so Christmas break will have to be my time to just crash and recover ( Read more... ) -

What a day...
My car is officially DOA. Don't know exactly what happened but I barely made it home in one piece. Engine kept on dying. Grey smoke coming out tail pipe. Made weird noses. That bitch is through. Blahgayness
Yay, my engine overheated again yesterday. Missed class. Missing most of work today while car is repaired. And there's still some oil leaks that also need fixing. Spending more money. Yay. Expenses suck. Especially unexpected ones. I got my bill from Time Warner Cable and apparently they increased my internet charge from $35 to $55. Assholes, I'm ( Read more... )
