Absence does not make the heart grow fungus.
I've been away for over a week. And granted, I was busy enough that I spent more time not thinking about him than time thinking about him. But towards the end, he was all I could think about. I obviously need more time.

Anger Management
I really want to skip running tonight because I have so much work to do, but I skipped the last 2 weeks and I really shouldn't skip the last Wednesday night of the season. To add to the impending doom, I had a damn near impossible deadline to meet today. Put it this way: the last 3 months of my life has been consumed with work. My hours were getting later and later, to the point where my mom would call me to chat after 10:00 PM and I would still be at work. Impending doom once again...
Our company announced yet another round of layoffs will be coming up. I honestly didn't see this coming. I have survived 5 rounds of layoffs in the 8.5 years I've been working for this company. Here is to keeping my fingers crossed that I'll survive this one as well ( Read more... ) -

Not sleeping...
