I haven't posted on this topic since I started back to work. And actually, this week was better than last week. So far, I've used the baking soda/apple cider vinegar routine twice: Thursday night and Saturday morning. I skipped a shower altogether on Friday because I was up late. I've decided to try my hand at shampoo-free hair care. I've found the idea very compelling for a long time, but have never had the guts to take the plunge. Effing day care.
So today was my first day back at work. The work part was great! My peeps decorated my cube with "welcome back" signage and balloons, a welcome sight since I feared before I left that I might be moved to another unit while I was out. Sunday school
I realized on Sunday, after reading the church bulletin, that Penelope will be old enough to begin religious education this year. For 3- and 4-year-olds, my church has Sunday school during the 9 a.m. Mass. Final days of vacation.
Just four days left of my maternity leave/summer vacation. It's been a really fun 12 weeks! And, yeah, the time seems to have gone by quickly in some ways. Holy baby fat, Batman!
Atticus is officially huge. He and Penelope had their well child appointments with the pediatrician today, and he weighed in at 16 pounds even. He is 2 months and 2 weeks old. I recorded Penelope's 2-month weight as 13 pounds, 9 ounces. She may have been closer to exactly 2 months when that was taken, but still. Sixteen pounds! I haven't posted in ( Read more... )
