fic recs: slip on a banana peel, the world's at your feet
Of all fanfic genres, humor might be one of the trickiest to write well. A decent humor fic that doesn't cross over into crackfic requires a keen understanding of both the characters in a fandom and what fandom finds funny about them.

Unfortunately, it's not the most organized of methods, and it's become less effective since more fic has started to show up on Dreamwidth and AO3.
