I'm loving the SAHM role. I didn't walk in my door at night after picking up Jessie until 8:00pm. It was WAY too difficult a schedule. I'm loving life now!

I just love it when PBK does that! I had to totally change Abbey's nursery when I was about 38 weeks preggo b/c they discontinued the line I wanted and I couldn't get sheets. Be sure to post pics of Jessie's new room!

Glad you had a good New Year's Eve. Here's to a happy and healthy 2008 for you!

I don't envy your reasons for being out of work (and I hope you're doing well in that regard), but I am so jealous of your lack of work right now! Oh what I wouldn't give to be done working!! (I hate working, if you can't tell.)

The swelling is much better since I'm out of work and not sitting for 8 hours a day. So it's been great to be out of work and feeling so much better. This condition gets worse as I get bigger - so I'm enjoying the time now!

When will you be able to be put out on leave?

My plan is to work right up until I have the baby, unless (s)he is late. Then I'll probably take off right around my due date. The more time I have off before the baby comes, the less time I get to spend at home with him/her. I work for a very small company (only one other full-time employee), so my leave is all unpaid. If we hadn't just built a new house, it wouldn't be a problem, but our mortgage (and lifestyle) is based off both our incomes. It kind of sucks; there are times I wish we'd have made the choice to stay in our old house, where I could have been as SAHM. Ah, choices.

However, I'm a bit worried today. I've had a sinus infection since Saturday, and now I'm back to work. I have been extremely dizzy since the minute I sat at my desk, which kind of worries me. I've had dizzy spells throughout this pregnancy, but I'm really weak right now too. I'm actually going to call my doctor's office as soon as I'm done typing here.
