Jessica's GI problems
So last I posted, Jessie went to the GI, they did the abdominal x-ray and told me she was severely  "backed up" and the x-ray showed an enlarged liver.... They sent us for blood tests and had us collect stool samples for analysis.

New Years Eve

First Trimester Screening - the latest...
Had my second blood draw last Monday, the 19th.  Awaiting results this Monday or Tuesday.  If my number is better than 1 in 844 for Downs, I'm done.  If it's worse, I'll have to go back to the genetics place for further counseling.  I think my current stats are excellent, but I know how things go from fine ( Read more... )

Car accident
I posted about this in the may/June 05 thread on cc but didn't post here - plus I haven't posted in a bit....

I got in a car accident on the way to work on Tuesday. An old woman was not paying attention in stop and go traffic and when the traffic stopped, she was looking off in the other direction, still accelerating, and crashed into me ( Read more... )

Sleeping - The last 2 nights were much better.  She STTN on Wednesday night.  Woke at 6:30am!  Heaven!!!  Last night she slept through until 5:05am - I went in and she was back to sleep in about 7 minutes.  Then slept till 6:40!  yeah!  The problem is that Lenny is not feeling well and tossed and turned all night so on a night I could have actually ( Read more... )

After not sleeping at all the last 2 nights because Jessie refused to let me, I got up (notice I didn't say "woke up") and called in sick to work.  I mean, I was ill...ill from not sleeping.  I think it would have been dangerous for me to commute 3 hours on no sleep, not to mention work the full day.  You all know I'm used to walking around like a ( Read more... )

This weekend Sucked.  I'm off Friday and had a big day planned for me and my girl.  When she woke at 6:00am she didn't seem herself.  She ended up getting really sick again.  Throwing up all morning.  Back to the Dr. we went and they sent us to the ER.  The intention was she needed IV fluids as she was dehydrated, but when we got tothe hospital, ( Read more... )

Trip to the Hospital

I mentioned on Monday that Jessie had a stomach virus.  Well, I took off from work and we went to the Dr. that day.  He said to keep her hydrated, watch for wet diapers and feed her bland food when she's ready to eat and keep her off dairy.  Dr said the second part of the virus was diarrhea, which she got on Wednesday.
