My mac laptop had its second hard drive replacement in under 3 years. Thankfully its still under warranty, but I'm concerned that there is some other problem with the computer that is causing hard drives to fail so quickly, and the mac store keeps saying that its luck of the draw how long a hard drive lasts, they are all sealed ( Read more... )

I'm starting to wonder if there are any colleges or universities that don't call themselves one of the most international/ethnic/religiously diverse diverse institutes of higher education in the U.S.

My car broke down across the street from two car repair places. If it had to die, it couldn't have chosen a more comedic location.

How come whatever crap version of SAS we get at my office seems to have a totally GIMPED version of the program where every possible user-friendly feature that SAS has ever developed is missing? I can't even import my data without installing six modules.
