Still working through the preview failures.

My free-trial period on Ecto ran out, alas. I'd have gotten away with it too, if not for those meddling Growl updates - I had to reboot for the first time in weeks. That meant Ecto shut down and restarted, which meant it noticed that it was older than 21 days on my system.

Continuing from the last message, a sidebar. Another reason I disagree with eyebeams that "indie games are designed for cautious, cool relationships" is that I disagree with the "pro-Forgie" argument that these games work because they are "complete games," so if you just follow the rules, you'll have a functional, good time.
