Man, I LOVE it when good writers create long serials with lots of parts. Last time was "Spander", this time its Stargate Alantis.  Not as many and not as long but possibly better.

Well, I saw the ophthalmologist this afternoon. The last thing they do now a days is dilate your eyes and then take a picture. The doctor pulled the picture up (I looked over his shoulder) and it was a big grey eyeball. I have an appointment with St Luke's to discuss cataract surgery on Monday. Not sure how fast the actual (1st surgery will be.)

I now have Medicare!!! And even more importantly, as of Sept 1st I have drug coverage. I can pay the $79 drug insurance premium, the medicare premium and still have funds from what I used to pay each month in prescription medication to apply to doctor visits, blood test, etc. each month. Picture me dancing around a room doing the "SCORE!" dance complete with hip thrusts and all. SSD has decided that I qualified for Medicare in June. Now at first this bummed me out because they are subtracting and extra $290 from the check I receive in 2 weeks with only a total of 3 weeks notice. I have a CLEAN master bedroom closet and I'm starting to work on getting a clean kitchen. My goal is to do laundry once a week and finish the kitchen by the first of March, middle March at the latest.
