After 35 months Social Security has accepted that I am disabled. Of course, I haven't gotten any money yet. Things are getting weird
About 4 weeks ago I was visiting the doctor and mentioned my wrist had been swollen and hurting for about a week. He took a look at it, felt it (it was hot) and told me I had an infected wrist joint. How I stop a cat fight.
Okay, I've seen the one where two kittens are play fighting and then a sibling starts tossing a hairball and they both stop to look at it. I've just found that a decent way to get my cats to stop fighting (growling and hissing) is to shake a plastic container full of seed beads at them. Monday Xena will be taking her last vet trip. Its very, very difficult to know when to put a cat to sleep. They don't show pain and its often difficult to know how bad things are. I've always promised myself that when a cat had urinary incontinence it was one of the signs (if the vet couldn't find a normal solution) that the time had come. Xena ( Read more... ) -

Xena update
Well, Xena is getting much better. The good news is that she's gained almost 1/2 lb, is eating almost like normal (mostly without being coxed - too much), and she is eliminating thanks to medication. The sort of bad news is that the vet thinks this may take 6 weeks or so of supportive medication to get her in shape. I'm going back again on ( Read more... )
