I will have a car as of this coming weekend: '99 Subaru Forester. Previously owned by two older gentleman, so lot of mileage, but very well maintained. Has all the fancy upgrades (leather seats, wood trim, seat heating, rear view mirror heating), but super ridiculously cheap price. And it has a nice large cargo area for moving all my crap ( Read more... )

Home from NY and Canada for a few days before heading to Mexico for a week. Graduation and family travel were pleasant, though punctuated by bursts of stress from having so many strongly opinionated people together at once. Today I have been enjoying a peaceful time at the Daily Grind. I have consumed three raspberry Italian sodas and a salad. Posted about 5 blog entries. Spent about an hour talking to a guy who works for IT or something at CSUN. Term II is over, and I never have to take an actual class here ever again. Thank god.
Time to read lots of books and movies about suicide and force myself to write a paper over the next 7 weeks....

Hanging out by myself for the next week while everyone ventures off home and on vacations. Should be nice and peaceful, and hopefully very productive.
