Well, I had my Disability/SSI appeals hearing today, Tuesday, Dec. 9, 2008, and I won!! My lawyer pointed out to the current judge that not only did the previous judge make his ruling with insufficient information, but also used the wrong statutes to do so! OMG! This is so fantastic. You are due that retro money, right? That is how they usually do it, I thought. I am so happy for you and your daughter. Finally all this darkness can go away. This is fantastic news!

Congrats! I knew all along that the system would work for you. sometimes it just takes time.
I got to laughing aboutt your post today. Only in the south do we go nnuts over winter weather. Ala. snow was to the NW with several inches that of course lasted long enough for photos to be taken and sent to the news stations. All I got was an ugly day. But hey you know that snow, although pretty, is a 4 letter word.

Thanks for the congrats, I can't wait for $$$ to start coming in. My landlord called me last night to let me know that I'm supposed to make a co-pay on my rent and another payment on the security deposit so I need cash. Snow is definately a 4 letter word up here in Maine.,Fro today, so is rain; freezing rain that is causing a very slippery layer of ice on everything.
