today in clinical post conference one of my classmates interrupted the meeting to ask me if i was okay ... haha it was crazy, everyone turned to stare at me and she told me i was really pale. I have been coughing all day, but i think i am always this pale ... or maybe i need more iron. either way, that was cute of her, but very awkward for me! -

I had to watch 'the medicated child' today in health ed and there was a kid whose 'mommy and me' (Pre-preschool) teacher told the parents to put him on adhd medication. The kid was 4. So they did, and then he was diagnosed with childhood bipolar disorder (because he had mood swings apparently) and was put on anti-psychotics and mood stabilizers. He ( Read more... )
