I've been feeling bogged down and not as productive as I'd like to be lately, so I decided to take the night off and go to Houston this evening to attend the HMC monthly meeting (which I'm guessing must have been rescheduled since no one seemed to be there?) and watch the new X-Men movie with the Volvo crew. Total crap.

Once again, I thought that I had pretty much wrapped up all of my "sorting through papers" business here, only to have my dad hand me three folders full of stuff from when I was graduating high school and applying for colleges. ACK! On the plus side, I think nearly all of it can just be thrown out completely.

i wish that i hadn't used up all of my tequila, rum, and gin. i could go for a good self-pity drink, but i'm really not much in the mood for the absente. but i haven't really bought any liquor in a long time because i haven't had much occasion/opportunity to drink in the past couple years.

Well, it has been one week since I began phase 2. I've not made as much progress as I had hoped/expected, but I had not expected to find so many boxes of old school papers and newspaper clippings and such.
