Felt sort of strange going to my local Prisma after work today. :/ Let's hope we could have a 2010 without these mass shootings that are happening way too often. -
PC woes
The automatic fan control on my 8800 GTS seems to be borked. It always runs on 100%. Now every time I start my computer I have to manually set it to 50% through software. Manually of course, since the software isn't smart enough to remember the setting. I'd hate to have to throw out a perfectly capable card, especially since I spent a fair amount ( Read more... ) -

Now that I'm on vacation (yay!) I've had time to start rewatching one of my childhood favourites: Richard Carpenter's Robin of Sherwood. This is the best version of Robin Hood ever and it still works after 20 years. I especially like the mystical elements they added. Epic times.

Estonia's entry should have won. ;_; It was the only gem among the usual trash. At least Finland gave them maximum points. -
Hands-on
Just came back from a test drive of the Mito. It was almost the same spec as the car I've ordered, except with leather seats. First impressions are very good. Too bad I couldn't take it with me when I left the dealer's premises... -
There is such a thing as a free lunch
The pizza delivery service we ordered our lunch from today was so quick that they got caught for speeding. When we called to ask where the food was the delivery guy was actually sitting in the back of a police car apologizing. :p This resulted in a 1½-hour delay but the pizzas were free. Can't complain really, and we got a good laugh.
