Tonight is the first of my hopefully annual Halloween/Christmas parties. I went to the party store at lunch time and lucked out because they still have a whole room devoted to Halloween. I got the call this morning, one of my best friends finally had his baby. Slightly overdue, they decided to induce labor yesterday, and around midnight they had a little baby girl. I got the call first thing this morning, and I'll be heading to the hospital around lunch time to go see how everyone is doing. My brother had his little baby girl just ( Read more... )

What's this plague of self doubt I've been running into lately? Maybe it's always been here and I never noticed because I too was a victim of it. Somehow I've survived the plague that afflicted me last week, and now I'm feeling at least 85% better. I think taking it easy this weekend was exactly what I needed to recover. How do you put up with strange guys hitting on you? I'm not into guys at all, but I'm not going to freak out usually if a guy tries to come on to me.
