I've had a pleasant day so far. After signing up (finally) for a new checking account because my old bank doesn't have branches in Texas, I went to a local coffee house, and had--well, tea. Interesting news that I've been hiding: my future brother-in-law flies in on Saturday to spend Thanksgiving week with our family. He's from Michigan, so none of the rest of us have met him.
