Progress!
I've actually got two of the panels for the dress done! ish, at least since I still need to trim, BUT this means I only have four more panels to go before I can think about finishing the dress. 'Course, two of said panels are the front and back, which are approximately twice the width of the panels I've been working on these past couple nights ( Read more... ) -

I really haven't updated in quite some time. No dress stuff because ... well, I've been not working on the dress. And I left the camera in a friend's car. And it's in a different state. Woo. I've lacked the time, the energy, and the motivation to read or write anything. That in itself is pretty upsetting. Other stuff --

Two sizes too small?
Short update; no pictures. So tired. Spent the past ... four hours trying to get the patches to match up. The dress is in panels. I ended up having to make three of my own panels out of computer paper. We'll see how that goes. I *think* I've got the patches pretty well alighned. I'm honesly terrified to take the next step.

I have my Halloween costume! Kind of. Well, not really. I have the *beginnings* of a Halloween costume, though. Even though I am not entire sure if this is what the group will be doing for Halloween, I'm gonna make this dress over the summer. Perhaps I should eleborate? Awkweird as Feared?
First off - it's way to freaking hot. Seriously. It's April and 80-something degrees. I'm quite unhappy with this. And rather cranky. Due to stress. And lack of sleep. Apparently this also impedes my ability to write in fully formed sentences. Meh.

1) I should really be working on something productive at this point in time, but I decided that since I finished my lesson plan in a timely manner, I deserved a break until ... eleven, I suppose. Then work! I've got a page and a half of stuff to accomplish over this weekend.

I'm in the process of trying to plan my first lesson. My professor said to build off of something that my students have done in class over the past weeks I've been there.
