i've been hella busy.  i spent China's National Days in KUALA LUMPUR, MALAYSIA: 5 days of eating Muslim/Malay food, shopping, partying, and mingling with the locals.  :-)

hi there.

the ELC meeting went well.  we have a number of new teachers and new TAs.  the new teachers represent all corners of the globe while all the TAs remain entirely American.  thankfully, some of the TAs are "colored" (Latin and Asian) - instead of all of them being white (like last year).  it makes me feel less "alone" in the foreign ( Read more... )

things are good - i'm finally back on my feet.  i don't know what the hell caused my illness, but i'm glad things seem fine today.  i still get exhausted quickly and my food intake has diminished (thank God), but like i said, i'm glad things seem fine today.

today is Saturday, my first official day outside my apartment and in the city after 5 days.
