moving adventures!
Well, today I went over and helped Maarten move, along with my brother. It was great, being five billion degrees and all. I pretty much stayed in the old apartment and cleaned....all those boys had was a sponge, dishsoap, and some water in a windex bottle (I think they need someone to explain that putting water in the last bit of a cleaning ( Read more... ) -

I love this cat. I think she's super sleepy from her surgery yesterday and the fact she's getting over a cold. I'll walk in and find her on my bed, and then she'll want to cuddle for a bit. For the most part, she sleeps though. I tried playing with her with her little collar (she only has to wear it when she's going outside, like on vet trips) ( Read more... ) -

We just brought the kitty home about an hour ago. She immediately dashed under the bed because six people were staring at her, and tried scratching the carpet. Fortunately, after using my deep voice to say no the first three times she attempted, she's stopped. I'm so glad I called the animal shelter yesterday. I've been looking into getting a cat. I've wanted one, especially an indoor one of my own, for years. My mom has allowed me to get my own so long as I get this job, that I'll be getting a call on today, and it looks like I'll be getting it too. Why hello there, and happy fourth! I think I've been spamming up LJ lately....
