Happy Semana Santa week! It's also called Easter week, but it's a great tradition in Central America. Everyone has a week off of work and school so the whole of Honduras (practically) is traveling right now. So we just finished the midterm of 3rd quarter and I can hardly believe there are only 11 weeks of school left! Wow! (Secret cry of glee.) This midterm, most of my students improved their grades dramatically, which is wonderful because at the end of second quarter, quite a number of them were failing.
