I just spent eleven days with no electricity during what is apparently the second-longest heat wave ever in my state. It was not fun, to say the least. We got hit by a storm. So my mom went to a yard sale today and bought me a present. She paid five dollars for a tan trench coat so I could walk around feeling like Castiel. My mom's pretty awesome. -

It's my birthday today! I'm officially old enough to drink, apparently, but I don't think I'm be doing much of that. 21! Yeah! -
Sometimes I just give up hope for some people.
Ugh. I hate getting in debates with people. I know I probably shouldn't, but I do it anyway. My sister posted on Facebook that if any of the people on her friends list were racist, she wanted them to delete her. Perfectly reasonable, I feel. I went to a double feature at the drive-in last night. I must be a glutton for punishment, because the two movie were The Last Airbender and Eclipse. It's pretty bad when the Twilight movie isn't the one that makes me want to beat my head against something until I'm unconscious. It was only six dollars, though, and I didn't pay for it. This Is Unbelievable...
I took the ACT this year, and they sent my scores in to a college. I never sent in an application to this college, because I didn't plan on going back to school until next year. I got a letter in the mail today from this college. It said that, based only on my ACT scores, I'd been accepted. It also said I was getting a scholarship for 16,000 ( Read more... ) -
