1st week
Well, I made it through the first week of school, although it was really only a partial week. Monday was nothing for me, but I worked a half day and then watched a colleague's 2 kids in the afternoon so she could do CPR/First Aid class. Tuesday we had opening ceremonies, then the kids had a rotation of stuff to do, I headed home around noon to wait ( Read more... ) -
And in other news...
This week was a very good week for the diet/weight loss. Hope I can keep the momentum up on that front. Sometimes I just want to eat chocolate chip cookies. -
LB - Tooth #8
LB lost tooth #8 yesterday (Saturday, June 18). More accurately, it was pretty loose and he pulled it out. He got a Martin VanBuren (8th president) dollar coin for it. -
If you're happy and you know it... (or why...)
Something happened Friday night. I don't understand it and can't explain exactly why it happened. It's odd, I know how it makes me feel, but I still don't understand why. OK, enough being cryptic, sorry, that was not my intent.
Friday night Phil and I watched the "Original Songs" episode of Glee, where they go to regionals.

LB - lost tooth
Just for the record.
LB lost his 7th tooth yesterday (May 9) at school. He went straight to the nurse, put it in an envelope, got a certificate and brought it home safe and sound. -
Help with software
I have a friend (whose friends list barely crosses over with mine) who is looking for a copy of Microsoft Office 2003.
Do you have one? Or a way to get one downloaded?

LB - Little Reader Boy
For some reason I just love this photo. He's reading the first book in the Stoneheart Trilogy and while it took him a chapter to get into it, he's definitely enjoying it now. One of his reading assignments was to look up unknown words in a dictionary. The dictionary that he currently has is the "New World" dictionary, hence when he looked up the ( Read more... ) -
