I really, really need some kind of adventure and/or adrenaline fix.  I haven't done anything really exciting in awhile (except cross that railroad bridge with Josh).  I miss the mountains and the west.  I really miss Wyoming.  Part of me wishes I had gone back there this summer.  It'll be nice to be local and a little more close to home, though.  I ( Read more... )

So, just got back from Josh's bachelor party, which as I mentioned, was a two night camping trip at his folks' property out by Saltsburg.  The last time I was out there was this time last year when we did a night or two of some camping.  We got rained on pretty good that time and, from the looks of it, we were gonna get it again this year.  Friday ( Read more... )

I went back to Gibsonia yesterday to look around the railroad.  Last time I was there was the day I went out to visit Josh in Canton sometime last January.  I went south on the tracks that time and didn't find much... My pap called a few days ago and said he wanted to take me out to Dubois/Punxy to show me a railroad with lots of insulators on it.  I figured it sounded fun, so we went out this morning to check it out.  Once we got into Punxy you could see the poles standing with tons and tons of glass on em, three crossbars and all of em just about full.  It ( Read more... )
