This is not good. Not very good at all.

It did not come to my attention until today that I had stowed this journal at the very bottom of my trunk a few months ago when I was tidying up my bed - and completely forgotten about its' existence.

Miss Vance, do Prefects generally go home for the Holidays?

Has this castle been eerily silent lately, or am I just imagining things? Alright, not "silent" but at least not nearly as interesting as it should be.

Time is passing to slow for my liking, and Ravenclaws do not misbehave enough. I suppose that's a good thing.

Is there anyone or anything avalible

Is it at all odd that this journal was trembling just now? Maybe it was frightened, or cold? I know that I am cold if not completely frozen to the point where I cannot feel my fingers well enough to write. Poor circulation, I suppose.
