And glad you liked the ending. The ending had been fixed in my mind since the beginning, it's just getting the story to that point that's the tricky bit. But now they're happy and snuggly and together, and in the end, that's all that matters. Right? :D

You may find the List of Detectives, Constables, and agents and the minor Sherlock Holmes character list both from Wikipedia to be helpful. The minor character list all seem exceedingly British but the detectives/constables/agents have some good names, even first names you could use as last if you liked.
