I saw my dad yesterday. He was extremely excited to see Lindsey, myself, and our significant others, considering we were in California for 5 days. First thing he did... he called me over, and decided that he was going to kick me with his bad leg. Haha! What an improvement! Just got this text from my mom: Good news, all of Scotts doctors have released him to go to rehab. He will be going to Health South Rehabilitation Hospital at 67th Ave & Thunderbird. They are trying to transfer him today, if not it will be tomorrow.

Sweet! Dad is officially outta ICU. Still at St. Joe's somewhere on the fifth floor. New adventures!

Dad had a rough grumpy night to start, but at around 11:30 or midnight he knocked out. Slept really good. He just got a bath from the nurses. He was all about it! he feels really good now. He actually said "I feel amazing!" Now he's wiped out from all the hustle and bustle ( Read more... )

Update on pops--hes resting now. I get to spend the whole night with him tonight. He got a slight case of pneumonia yesterday, but he's getting over that. They put a feeding tube in his tummy instead of nose. It was bothering him. He's talking so much. I'm happy to see him doing better. Maybe soon out of ICU?

11:45am--Well, time for an update. Dad is suffering from headaches. They've got him on morphine to dull the pain. His communication is getting better. But still sleeps most of the time. He's getting a bit irritable, and uncomfortable. Pulled out his feeding tube out of his nose a few times. That's all for now ( Read more... )

6:40pm-Sorry I haven't updated today. Dad had a rough day today. He can't seem to stay awake. He hasn't said much. All we can do is wait and see. Docs are expecting worse tomorrow and maybe Sunday. Dad can understand, comprehend and talks a little now. Can't understand everything. He cant move or feel his right side at all. But he's doing a little better. Ill do my best to keep everyone updated.
