Central Park Adventure!

Today, Rob Patterson and I decided to trek through Central Park and have an adventure. Adventuresome, it was. I'll keep it short.

I hate to spoil the romanticism of setting captive animals free, but I really don't think it's a good idea to set Osama free, in spring or any other time. Chances are, he won't know how to live on his own in the wild...it usually works that way with almost all pet animals, especially ones as tiny and helpless as him.

sounds whimsical and fun - i hope to see you in the film, and i have to agree with val, Osama would be doomed to certain death if you set him free with no reliable way of finding whatever tiny turtles eat.

I hate to interrupt this grand discussion of animal survival skills and romanticism, but Osama is MY turtle. He will go nowhere without me. He's not moving to Central Park, he's coming home with me this summer. We can take him to visit the pond if you like, but that is all.
