Somehow, I think the DST bug was more annoying for me then the theoretical Y2K bug. I woke up to the power having gone off, with the only thing potentially telling me the right time was my TV. I couldn't access some of my e-mail (web-server crashed?). And I had to install all these annoying patches to get my digital calendars (outlook) to sync ( Read more... )

I've returned to the mainland again after my two week stay on the Hawaiian islands. It was a great time and I wish I didn't have to come back so soon. The four of us did a lot in our two weeks there and our fifth had a great time on the second week.
