My reasons for voting for [candidate] are because he agrees -- or at least he SAYS he agrees -- with my stances on the issues that are most important to me. My reasons for voting against [candidate] because he stands on the other side of the table about almost everything.
At the end of the day, for me, personally, no speeches, no political parties, no celebrity endorsements can sway me from voting on the issues that matter to me.
PS: I didn't say who I'm voting for because political debate makes me want to curl up and die, but I am a PROUD voter. Etcetera.
it's not too generic, if only because i think it's important that people keep mentioning that they're voting based on ISSUES and not how much he loves his wife or whatever.
What is your number one reason to vote for John McCain? he opposes the ban on assault weapons. What is your number one reason to vote against John McCain? no withdrawal plan for iraq, plans to increase the size of the armed forces.
What is your number one reason to vote for Barack Obama? he supports near-total withdrawal from iraq by 2010. What is your number one reason to vote against Barack Obama? supports the ban on assault weapons & local laws prohibiting firearm access.
Yeah, the only thing McCain has going for him is the assault weapons position. On every other issue, he's on the wrong side.
My main reason for supporting Obama is that he actually gets how much trouble people are going through right now. To McCain's campaign, we're just a nation of whiners.

I support using assault weapons on politicians. Although, it's only a symbolic gesture, as I'm well-aware that politics are only the appearance of business, and any politician that would win is any other politician that could win. I am, of course, hard-headed and hard-hearted, bitter as an intuitive scientist.

I should have stayed out of it, I guess; I seriously can't vote. It was an emotional reaction and of little use to debate for form's sake. I certainly won't have anything nice to say on the subject that isn't an expression of regret over being involved.
i would never support mccain, even against bush, because he is a born armian and a true believer in the redeeming power of mayhem. besides, he is berzerkish. he called his wife a cunt in public just because she teased him about his hairline. and he didn't say it playfully. he is a dick.
i support obama because he has a huge brain and a kind heart. he appears to be incorruptible. my biggest fear is he will board a small aircraft, like wellstone and carnahan did.
I'm actually scared he'll just be assassinated outright, since he'll have what seems to be the trifecta of targets: President of the US, a charismatic leadership style, and a minority.
