Everything is white outside and its still coming down.....*sigh*

Halloween is barely over with and Three of my neighbors have Christmas wreathes up on their doors. The commercials have started on TV as well I've noticed. Seems to get earlier and earlier every year......

All alone this week as excaliburca has gone to Nova Scotia for his brother Sandy's second Wedding reception. His parents did the same for us after our Wedding for all the people that were not able to attend. I would have loved to attend but work is nuts and they refused to let me have the time off. A friend from work asked me to check in on her animals while her and her husband are out of town for a week at a wedding. I said yes so excaliburca and I went over tonight to get the feeding instructions and other info. It turns out she actually has a zoo. They have 21 birds, 4 ferrets, 3 cats, a chinchilla and an iguana. It's going to be an interesting week ( Read more... )

My kitty is very very sick, I had to leave him at the vet tonight and right now they plan on keeping him at least 3 days. He was jaundiced in his ears and eyes and the vet could tell that his stomach was empty. She thinks his liver might be shutting down but it could also just be anemia so they are going to be doing lots of Bloodwork and Xrays ( Read more... )

My Brother accepted a one year assignment in Australia this week so they will all be off soon. My Sister in law and the kids will not be going over until August as they have a six week trip to Italy planned in June/July and the tickets are non refundable/transferable. I found out today that someone that I actually know is going to be on the tv show "The Bachelor". The daughter of my most favorite elementary school teacher. I actually remember when she was born and her grandmother still goes to my church and is good friends with my mom.
