I didn't really have time to write any book reviews this year. I'm the kind of person books grow on in time, so not having this reflecting time I think made it feel like a slightly deflating reading year. Still, I think these books deserve consideration:( Read more... ) -

Not-buying-books-a-thon-2012
How did I do with my 2011 reading goals? Well, I read 14 out of the 28 titles I had tagged for 2011, which is really NOT BAD. Why? Because I managed some of my other goals, such as reading more women writers and more short stories (in fact, I read two collections of short stories, both my female writers!).
