I felt like an explanation was owed for why I've apparently stopped updating my Haikyuu fic. Didn't feel like doing it on AO3. I got into Haikyuu about a month ago, and by gosh, I never thought I'd be so taken with a volleyball anime. It started off feeling, through no fault of its own, like Slam Dunk. I finished Robert Rimm's The Composer-Pianists today, which, incidentally, was the first book I'd borrowed from a library since I left college. I  recently took stock of my finances and decided that I didn't need to  live like a Buddhist monk anymore. We took Arthur to the vet on his last car ride today. It was a beautiful sunny day, so rare in Seattle in the winter, and Arthur hopped into the car with his favorite ball in his mouth, little knowing that he wasn't going to be returning with us.
