A Day of Rest
So, that six day stretch of work is over. I just feel so exhausted after even a five day stretch of work. The unpredictable schedule of retail plays havoc with circadian rhythms. Still, today I was able to sleep in until 12:45, which was quite nice. And I've done nothing but laundry, videogames, and watch Doctor Who. Just about as relaxing as ( Read more... ) -
New Dawn
So, first couple of weeks of a new year. Not too bad, except for the craziness with the weather. The Wabash has engulfed the parks on the West Lafayette side, and is actually creeping close to the top of the levy. Thankfully things are getting colder again, since water and books do not mix. On Boxes
The past couple of days have been punctuated by boxes of varying sorts. Yesterday's box was one of that peculiar hue, orange. Basically, I am working. A lot. Six days a week a lot. It feels pretty grueling, and I end up being pretty useless on day six. Just four more weeks of this...

Of Training and Penguins
The manager training seminar I went to earlier this month in Schaumburg went well. I almost fell asleep during the Communication portion, but that was to be expected.
