I was driving back from a party tonight, out in the dark wilds of Boston's outer suburbs. I was flipping from high-beam to low-beam for an oncoming car, and the combination turn-signal/high-beam stalk on the left behind the steering wheel broke off at its base. Sheesh! I've only had my new cube for a day and a half at my new job, and I was informed that I would be switching cubes with the person adjacent to me. Where's my red stapler?!

I'm still in the middle of the process of paperwork for it, but I've accepted a job offer from the Trial Court of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts to do Linux sysadmin work.

This will be my first full-time job in three years. Real benefits. Non-crazy hours.
