So a while back, the lovely Darcy (also known as vidsalot) and myself were asked to be "guest authors" on a chat for the International Little Danny Group. This is because a couple years ago we co-wrote the ridiculously long little Danny story, There is a Season, and it apparently still has a certain popularity in the fandom. So yay! Congrats!

My all-time favorite Daniel kidfic is still Scion (because, dammit, I love my grown-up Daniel!), but I'm glad this one won as its another one of my favorites.

The LD Yahoo-group is *exploding* with new fic, which is nice for that means more kidfic, and some of it is actually good. But, damn, it's making me want mini-Jack and shrunken team fics for variety!

Ooooh, these are good. The only ones I'm not sure of are the best kiss category (there are so many!) and I'm a little confused by "It was all the booze" fic. Can you give me an example of one of those?

Otherwise, this is a great list that should give a lot of people a chance at at least a few awards. And a WL quote for each one sounds good, too, although I'm having a hard time imagining what those quotes would be for some of them.

"It was all the booze" fic. Eh, well, like Emma's fic where Colin and Ryan play an elaborate game of "drink if you have never...", or desireeclary's "question of lust", or well, there are loads of examples, basically a fic where the whole process of confessing love and acting upon it is brought on by booze, preferably lots of it. Oh, Clay has a fic like that too, where they all go out dancing to a gay bar? Anyway, you get the point... If you don't like it as a category that's ok, I was just trying to list all I could think of.

And as far as "best kiss" goes... I don't know, I'm kind of fond of that *laughs* Although I'm sure we would get a whole lot of nominations for that one.

And I can take a look at some quotes? I don't know if it'll work either really, I just thought I'd be fun :)

I like both the kiss one and the booze one. The ones I'm not sure about are best threesome and best non-con. Do we have enough fics in either of those categories to justify giving awards? I can't even think of a single non-con, except maybe bordering on it in Pressure? I'm sure they exist, though.

And yes! Do quotes. ^_^ Quotes are never a bad idea.

But otherwise I think it's a fantastic list. Are we making award banners or anything?

Those are fabulous. ^_^ I think my vote for the kink one is Wayne's. For the Ryan-centric fic, I like Mike's quote. For wives, I like the Ryan/Colin one.

For Greg, I've always liked: "Hello, everybody. I'm Proop Doggy Dog."

Woo! These are all awesome. I had a great time sitting here reading through them, and they're lovely. I think this is perhaps the most fitting of them all, for best use of wives: Colin:Wives live longer than their husbands because they aren't married to women. Perfect!
