Tonight's House

Nov 14, 2006 22:13

So, in keeping with my newly discovered House love, I watched the new episode tonight. ( You know, the one with coma-guy and stunning amounts of House/Wilson goodness. )

reviews, house

I think the "right" House meant was in that he dad never said he was--it's always you were wrong, you did it wrong, you made the wrong choice. Nothing was ever "right". So it would be nice to hear his dad say that about anything. And it's always nice to finally get approval from a parent...

And I hate Tritter, too. Really. So much so that I didn't even know his *name*. Okay, no, that wasn't really a part of it, I just don't often pick up names, especially not for people I wish would disappear because I can't stand to even see them on screen.

Yeah, could be, on the whole House-and-his-dad thing. I haven't seen most of the earlier episodes, so if there's backstory there I'm probably missing it. Got seasons one and two on my Netflix list, though, so not for much longer! *g*

Tritter is annoying and I think the only thing I like about him is he does actually scare House a little, which is unusual. I like seeing House show a little vulnerability sometimes. Tritter could have been a good character if he wasn't played so flat and bullying and smug.

I haven't seen the first two seasons, either. So, I'm no help when it comes to further backstory :p But they are on my amazon wishlist!

And, yeah, I agree with you on the points in your second paragraph. But I also REALLY hate that gum chewing. But I guess that's part of his cocky/annoying 'appeal'.

I want to slap Tritter. Seriously. I had to speed through those scenes, he gets on my nerves THAT BAD. The fanficcer in me is loving that Wilson is paying for House's lack of common sense. :) And I love that the rest of the staff refers to Wilson as House's best friend. That's so awesome, usually in shows that relationship is hinted at but never mentioned.

Sweeeeeeeeeet!!!

John L was incredible as usual. I'll always love that man. And the circumstance, my god...when Wilson and House are sitting in the hall and you hear the noise in the room behind them (I imagine it being a chair scraping, something being kicked over)...wow. And Wilson provided House with an alibi! I admit that casino scene confused me, I'm glad they spelled it out in the hallway. Very clever.

This seems to be gearing up for something big, you know? *huge grin* I want a really good moment where House just loses it and comes to Wilson's defense on something, and then has a look of, "oh shit, did I really just do that?" LOL

Kam :)

Oh yes, I totally expect fantabulous fics to come out of this whole Tritter arc. I've already seen some where Tritter manipulates House and/or Wilson by playing them against each other, threatening one to get something from the other. Usually involving sex, which on the one hand squicks me a little because I don't like Tritter, but on the other has great h/c and angst and guilting potential.

I wonder what would happen if Wilson really did have enough and cut House off? Maybe that's the shock House needs to realize how much Wilson means to him. Like when he had to go through the detox to realize he's addicted to the Vicodin. Then of course we could see House's efforts to get Wilson back without actually resorting to anything so horrifying as apologies or sincerity. I imagine it would involve lots of pranks and teasing and House acting like he's perfectly fine when he's not.

House owes Wilson and at some point, he's going to pay him back in a big way. Can't wait to see it. ^_^

I think he realized how much Wilson means to him to some extent here, when House orders him out of the room so that he wouldn't be in on the suicide conversation. Didn't want to damage the friendship. And he fully recognizes the fact that Wilson got him an alibi...MAN that was so cool! But yeah, I want, like, CONFIRMATION. Like one of them just doggs the other for a while.

Well it does look as if there's some House/Wilson confrontation in the next new episode. Wilson has been patient and tolerant and giving, but eventually he's going to reach his limits and maybe that happens next week. *does the happy chair dance of squeeful anticipation*

House is quickly turning from "let's break a few rules, hehe" to "HOUSE IS A STORMING MONSTER OF LAW BREAKING FREEDOM WANTING RAMPAGING DOCTOR OF DOOOOOOOM MWAHAHA" and I love it.

This show keeps me WAY on edge. I was watching it with a group of girls and we were like "NO! Don't do it!" when he was talking to vegetative-state guy (NOT COMA GUY, lol) about killing himself.

I also finally saw the season 1 finale...that and the episode before it just broke my heart for House. Dear GOD he is damaged and DEAR GOD HOW MUCH I LOVE HIM AND WANT TO HOLD HIM.

I adore the friendship between House and Wilson, but Wilson was right...if House keeps stretching their friendship, one day it just might break...but we have seen how deep Wilson's love runs for House so who knows what it may take to break that friendship...it's so intriguing.

I LOVE HOUSE. :)

He really is pushing it lately, isn't he? Even shooting coma-guy up with all those drugs was over the line, but once again, results matter. I think that's why he gets away with a lot of stuff, because he does the wrong things for the right reasons, and because he gets results.

Also, what is this with the season one eps? I haven't seen them so I'm all curious now. More whumpage and woobie-ness from House? *is squeeful*

I do want to see what happens if House really does push Wilson too far one day. What will he do when he realizes he crossed the line and now has to get Wilson back? Because there's no question that he needs Wilson.
