Bye bye tree
I watched some guys fell a huge tree this afternoon. It was kinda sad watching it fall down so quickly after all those years of pushing roots deep into the earth and swaying in the ocean wind. I wonder about all the change that tree has "seen" in my neighborhood over the years. It's death makes way for some new and surely overpriced condos ( Read more... ) -

Getting it done

Feeling the pressure
Winter Quarter is a week and a half away from being over. I have a lot of studying to do! I'm mostly concerned with my living anatomy final. We have a written exam with an oral part. That part entails "drawing" 5 cards with various questions. We choose 3 that we feel confident with and then answer the question. We do this in groups of three as we ( Read more... ) -
I'm sorry February
I woke up and couldn't believe it was March 1st! Then I realized how February is a month I feel I always "lose" every year. Usually because I am anticipating all that March has in store for me. Around the house.
The weather has been fantastic the past couple of days. I got out in my garden yesterday and settled a few new plants into a new home and cleaned up some permanent residents. I divided a few bulbs and trimmed some ornamental grasses. Sadly, the dogs did kill a few plants this winter, but in the past, I've thought some were goners and once summer ( Read more... ) -
Wow, what a weekend!
It was a very musical weekend for me. Saturday night Dave and I drove to Seattle to see my friend from high school, Josh, perform in the Seattle Tudor Choir. It was a candlelight concert at the Blessed Sacrament Church. The choir sang chant, Renaissance, and contemporary music, including a song I sang back in high school!
