Okay, so Callie is six weeks old as of yesterday, and she has a cold.  I worry about her.  She has had a low grade fever since yesterday morning; it actually has gone back and forth from a low grade to a high one and back since yesterday morning.  She is congested, but with no runny nose.  Since she is so young, all I can do is talk to her doctor ( Read more... )

My new due date was yesterday; Monday, November 26th, 2007 at 9:09 pm.  We did not make it to December.  :)  Callista Aileen Bauer, a.k.a. Callie, is doing so well!  I am doing well too.  Callie has passed all of her tests thus far and she is latching on wonderfully.  I had to have a C-section, and am doing pretty well with the recovery too.  I ( Read more... )

  My ears are still clogged terribly. I am on indefinite bed rest this time. This is due to two reasons. I have excessive protein in my urine again, but this Dr. Brinkruff says is because I am already 1 centimeter dilated. We have an ultra sound scheduled for tomorrow at 1:00 pm.    I have a cold right now.  I never get earaches from my sinus drainage, but this time I managed to get so much fluid in both of my ears.  They hurt more than the chapped nose and lips and congested chest.

 I had a doctor's appointment yesterday, and things are looking a little better.  Well enough that the doctor is going to allow me to do a trial run at work for the next 3 days.  (I get to see my students in their Halloween costumes!)  I have another appointment on Monday, and we will see if we need bed rest for the rest of the pregnancy.  I loss 5 ( Read more... )

  ...I went to to the doctor for by bi-weekly prenatal appointment.  The doctor said that my blood pressure is a little too high, with a little protein in my urine, and that I have gained too much weight since my last appointment (8 pound in just over two weeks).  I have been asked to take a week of bed rest and to do a 24-hour urine collection ( Read more... )

 So my car has broke down.  I don't have one now.  Troy's car is owned by work.  So we are now without a car.  I am almost at 31 weeks along in our pregnancy; this means I only have 9 weeks until our due date.  We can't afford a new car because of some other unexpected expenses on top of what we currently have expenses for.  I am already overly ( Read more... )
